Addicted

This video gets me out the door.  It's very motivating. Love the music titled "Addicted" by Zane Gort.  Too bad I can't find a way to add it to any of my playlists because it is not available in Sportify nor is it for sale anywhere.  I can only listen to it online.

#16 - Laughing at my Nightmare

My usual goal when racing is to either finish under 30 minutes or just finish. This time, I aimed to beat my personal record (PR) of 27:36.  With the forecast of a clear 65F morning, together with the slightly hilly terrain, and asphalt road, I felt I had a very good chance.

#14 - Run for Life

I finished this race in 23:56. I was dumbfounded. That's 3 minutes faster than my best time which happened 3 weeks earlier.  It usually takes me months of training to improve running speed, even by just a single minute.  How is this even possible?

#9 - Matchmaker 5K: it's not what you think

Nope, it's not a dating race, although I did end up meeting a remarkable person. Her name is Erenia from the Republic of Seychelles (Listeni say-shellsFrench).

#13 - Appalachian Aquathlon, 5K, & Kid's Triathlon

I participated in this event with my daughter, Michelle. It's the smallest race I've finished so far but the camaraderie among runners and volunteers was amazing. Everyone was a stranger at the starting line, but not after the finish.

#11 - Tortoise and the Hare

5K race #11 happened on Memorial Day Monday, May 26, 2014 in Wind Gap, PA - Tortoise and the Hare.   No awards here (maybe), but I might have broken my personal record.  I really cannot say for sure.

#12 - Kreidersville Covered Bridge 5K Challenge

Corn galore
This is one of the most beautiful, well organized, and thoughtful 5K races I've finished. It was 3.1 miles of refreshing landscape.

My 10-year old son who hates running finished a 5K today

Before race
My son JMR finished the Kreidersville Covered Bridge 5K Challenge with me today placing 81 of 106 runners and attained his personal record of 45:02 (minutes:seconds)!
